HERNIS' weather proof series are highly advanced process and surveillance camera stations. This 9herz model S36W T is equipped with a thermal camera making it suitable for application in no-light and low-light environments.
Thermal imaging systems enable us to differentiate objects based on the variation of heat they generate. Regardless of the visible light thermal imaging can thus be used for detection and will recognise objects in total darkness. Even in daylight thermal imaging detects objects at longer distances than the human eye.
The S36 camera station can be fitted with a large spectre of high resolution thermal cameras with lenses up to 60mm. This flexibility allows for optimisation of the imager to suit a wide area of use, such as;
