Overview
This compact and lightweight network day/night IR 20X HD 1080p 16:9 format zoom dome camera has been designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions. The camera housing is manufactured completely from stainless steel 316L, which is ideally suited for use in offshore and onshore environments. Stainless steel screws and mounting bracket for optional wall, ceiling or pole mounting are incorporated ensuring a totally corrosion free unit.
he XD20 network dome cameras deliver superior HD quality motion JPEG and H.264 HD video over IP networks in all light conditions, which makes them especially suited for demanding security surveillance and remote monitoring applications. As with all true domes, the network dome cameras enable a continuous 360-degree pan operation and support 256 preset positions, guard tour and 3D privacy masking. Fast (450°/second), high precision (0.05°) PTZ control, using a mouse or a joystick, makes tracking objects of interest easy. Area zoom enables you to zoom immediately to any desired part of a scene.
The cameras also include a complete set of network security features such as HTTPS and IP address filtering. Further specifications are a 20x optical & 12x digital zoom and an auto focus lens. The electronic image stabilizer reduces the effect of vibrations caused by traffic, wind or industrial on- and offshore installations. The XD20 capture colour HD video in light conditions down to 0.6 lux, and black & white video in dark conditions as low as 0.04 lux at 30IRE, thanks to its IR-cut filter that can be removed automatically.
Due to progressive scan, full resolution images are provided without distortion even when capturing moving objects. Direct power over Ethernet plus (PoE) or the integrated 230/115 VAC PSU make the use of an additional PSU junction box unnecessary.
Also available with an integrated single or multimode FO module for direct connectivity to fibre optic network infrastructures. IP over Coax is also available for backward compatibility.
